Basic Course

hairdresser

Course Description

The name of the course speaks for itself. Who have I designed this course for? Absolutely for all hairdressers who know how to cut hair and want to get more basic knowledge about the shapes and techniques of haircuts.

This course is suitable for very experienced masters who work in the “old school” as well as for those who have just received a basic education, but the knowledge they have received is not yet structured.

In this course – my view of the 9 basic forms, after studying which you will be able to combine them with each other and create absolutely any haircut.

The lessons should be practiced step by step on a hairdressing mannequin, but if you are confident, you can also try it on models who are ready to practice, or on your clients.

The basic course is not intended for those who do not have any basic training as an offline hairdresser.

Undoubtedly, you can learn anything at home, but if you are trying to get to knowledge on your own without a teacher to watch you work at the beginning of your career, no one can point out the mistakes you will make one way or another. Which means the time you spend mastering the craft will be much longer.

How long the course lasts, content

The training includes 9 online lessons of 10-20 minutes each.

Course objective:

  • To master the base – 3 fundamental shapes (circle, square, triangle);
  • To learn to see and understand the peculiarities of creating dynamics and silhouettes on hair of different lengths;
  • gain skills in the main haircutting techniques (line, graduation, layers).

Who will benefit from the course?

The training is worthwhile for any hairdresser who is proficient in haircuts and wants to improve their skills in basic forms:

  • Masters with experience working in “old school” techniques;
  • Newcomers to the profession who have just received fresh knowledge in-person.

It is better to practice consistently on mannequins. However, if you are confident in your abilities – on models.

For people who do not have a full-time educational background as a hairdresser at all, the course is not suitable. Despite the trend of online learning, to become a true master-professional, you need to work on the haircut step by step, carefully copying the actions of the teacher. It is this approach will make it possible not to make a lot of mistakes on the head of the client, which are inevitable at the beginning of the path.
